We are working now on the next shipment and then beyond.....There have been requests for things from blind canes to hearing aides.......WAF is working away to see what we can do.
As the economy grows worse we look to our friends more and more to carry us beyond these days. If you can help us in anyway please get in touch....not just cash donations but, talent, items, etc. We are an all volunteer group so all help is welcome!

West African Blind & Deaf Schools Update
WAF has just send out another large push of material to the blind and deaf schools!
On Friday January 9, 2009 we shipped another 53 cases of braille books, large print books, books on tape/CD, and other material for the deaf youth as well including works on poetry, art, theatre, ecology, computer science, classics, etc.
The great news is that before the truck came to pick up the out-going cartons another 29 large cases of material was delivered! So, the work goes on! So, I am again deep in books, boxes and tape...and it is a blessing!
Stay tuned for more updates!
